REVIEW: Undeadly by Michele Vail

The day I turned 16, my boyfriend-to-be died. I brought him back to life. Then things got a little weird...

Molly Bartolucci wants to blend in, date hottie Rick and keep her zombie-raising abilities on the down-low. Then the god Anubis chooses her to become a reaper—and she accidentally undoes the work of another reaper, Rath. Within days, she's shipped off to the Nekyia Academy, an elite boarding school that trains the best necromancers in the world. And her personal reaping tutor? Rath.

Life at Nekyia has its plusses. Molly has her own personal ghoul, for one. Rick follows her there out of the blue, for another...except, there's something a little off about him. When students at the academy start to die and Rath disappears, Molly starts to wonder if anything is as it seems. Only one thing is certain—-Molly's got an undeadly knack for finding trouble....

I was so excited to read this book!! I thought it sounded really amazing based on the synopsis! So when I got this book off of Netgalley...
I was a very happy person!
But sadly, this book was a disappointment.
 It wasn't bad...
It was just disappointing.
First off, Some parts of the book were confusing and random. There would be parts that make you wonder How in the world did that happen?
Then those random parts seemed to be sprinkled all over the place and make you wonder What is the point of this book?
But this wasn't the main problem that I had with the book, the main problem was Molly's voice.
The easiest way to describe her voice is to say that it's a "Teenager Voice"
Some of you might be thinking, "Well duh! She is a teenager!" But i'm talking about the stereotype voice, the ones you might hear in cartoons.
And it actually made her sound like a 12 year old now that I think of it...
That's weird coming from a teenager that often acts younger but in a serious situation I will act my age (maybe older) and there are many serious situations in this book. Yet, Molly still sounds 12...

OVERALL this book was okay. It wasn't amazing, but I wouldn't say that it's terrible.

I hereby give this book...
2 Wheels
Meaning: It was okay...
